Social Circus & Skateboarding Initiations

Young people residing in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, some from REP zones (underprivileged areas), will have priority access to our skateboarding activities which will be carried out this year with the intention of reducing the inequalities of their destinies. The project aims to encourage these young people, whatever their physical or social condition, to move and be active, by providing them with quality sports facilities. By offering them innovative activities such as circus and skateboarding, that combine sport, culture and heritage, they will be given the opportunity to participate in sport and cultural workshops that include Content Language and Integrated Learning. Thus language learning will be mixed with sports activities. Circus, like skateboarding, are the tools that help bring culture and sport to these disadvantaged audiences without institutional barriers that often turn them into monotone sports. The proposed activities will take place during the year and will be accompanied by live street art shows and demonstrations.
